Part-Time Retail Customer Service Associate (edmonton south)

We are looking for a friendly, reliable person to work in a small independent retail store 

This is a daytime position from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The role includes both in-store customer service and local deliveries, so applicants must have a valid driver’s licence and be comfortable driving in Edmonton and surrounding areas as required.

The right person will be comfortable working independently, speaking with a wide range of customers, recommending products, completing deliveries discreetly and professionally, and creating a welcoming, judgment-free shopping experience.

Responsibilities
Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner
Answer questions and provide helpful product recommendations
Process purchases, handle cash/card payments, and complete daily close-out procedures within scheduled hours
Pack online and delivery orders accurately
Complete local customer deliveries safely, discreetly, and professionally
Follow delivery instructions and maintain customer privacy at all times
Restock shelves and keep displays organized
Maintain a clean and inviting store
Respond to basic customer messages and inquiries
Complete daily tasks independently during quieter periods, including social media and basic website maintenance

Comfortable discussing sensitive or personal topics professionally
Reliable, punctual, and able to work without constant supervision
Confident approaching customers and starting conversations
Respectful of customer privacy and confidentiality
Comfortable using a point-of-sale system and learning new products
Comfortable driving and completing local deliveries
Previous retail, hospitality, sales, delivery, or customer service experience is an asset
Must have a valid driver’s licence
Must meet the legal age requirement (18+) to handle age-restricted inventory

Schedule
Shifts are scheduled between 12:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.

The shift includes a 30-minute rest break.

Because deliveries are part of the position, the employee may leave the store periodically during their shift to complete local orders.
