Clean the cage thoroughly before and after use with warm water and mild soap or a compatible toy cleaner, paying special attention to openings and areas that contact the skin.
If using the included urethral sound, proper sterile technique and suitable sterile lubricant are important. Urethral play carries additional risk of irritation and infection and is best reserved for experienced users who understand safe sounding practices.
